Leningrad Denton Gets the Cycle Friday, June 22nd, 2018 Communists first baseman Nick Denton made big news today in the Leningrad 18-7 victory over Westwood. He was 5-for-6 at the plate and hit for the cycle. Nick Denton singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Diego Avilés in the 4th, struck out in the 4th, tripled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. This year Denton is batting .282 with 3 home runs. He has scored 9 runs and driven in 11. |
