Mrazek Raps Astoria for 5 Hits Wednesday, May 23rd, 2018 "Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," Minneapolis's Herb Mrazek told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well." It definitely turned out well for Mrazek today as he collected 5 hits in 7 at-bats against Astoria. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Freeze knocked off the Argonauts 16-14 at Golden Fleece Park. Herb Mrazek walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th, grounded out in the 11th, grounded out in the 14th and walked in the 16th. This season Mrazek has hit at a .283 clip and produced 15 runs batted in, 2 home runs and 22 runs. |
