Graham on Fire, 5-6 Against Coronado Friday, May 18th, 2018 No matter what the Coronado Phantoms threw at him today, Geoffrey Graham hit it. He easily handled Phantoms pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Banditos to a 16-3 triumph at Phantoms Field. He told BNN reporters in the postgame interview, "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball." The Coronado skipper quipped, "Well, the next time we might just do that... blindfold him... and then pitch him differently, just to be sure." Geoffrey Graham struck out in the 1st, hit a two-run triple in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, hit a three-run triple in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Thus far in 2018 Graham is hitting .333 with 2 home runs, 25 RBIs, 20 runs scored and has compiled a .364 OBP. |
