Kato Week's Best in KSL Monday, May 7th, 2018 So far in his young career, Maresuke Kato has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Kade Stenson League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Leningrad Communists right fielder hit at a torrid .483 clip as he collected 14 hits in 29 at-bats, 1 home run, 8 RBIs and 7 runs scored. So far this season Kato has put up a .302 batting average with 35 hits, 2 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
