Week's #1 Player: Springfield's Thompson Monday, April 23rd, 2018 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Blake Camden League, but last week Pat Thompson of the Springfield Reformers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Thompson rocked opposing pitching for a .538 average (14-26), no home runs and 4 RBIs to come away with the award. So far this season Thompson is hitting .435 with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 30 hits in 69 at-bats and a .500 OBP. |
