The hard-working and hard-playing Howard Lawrence was rewarded with the Blake Camden League Player of the Week honors. The scrappy Joplin Fireballs shortstop hit .409 while collecting 9 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. Presently Lawrence is batting .259 and has collected 8 home runs, 28 RBIs, .307 OBP and scored 26 runs. |
