Bronx Loses Jim King Saturday, September 23rd, 2017 Earlier today, Bronx reliever Jim King had to leave the game against Philadelphia because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn rotator cuff and will miss 6 months of play. King was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. This year King has notched 2 saves. He has 82 strikeouts and 28 walks in 98.2 innings while registering a 5.20 ERA and a 2-6 won-lost record. |
