Cacti Vázquez Named KSL's Best Pitcher Friday, September 1st, 2017 Juan Vázquez hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Kade Stenson League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In August the Albuquerque starter earned a 4-0 mark in 6 starts. He threw 39.1 innings, struck out 31 and compiled a solid 1.37 ERA. Thus far this season, Vázquez has tossed 80.1 innings in 13 starts, fanned 60 batters, walked 19 and put up a 3.25 ERA with 6 wins and 1 loss. |
