Cannon Selected BCL's Best Pitcher Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 Frank Cannon hasn't been around the big leagues long enough to know that youngsters shouldn't be winning Blake Camden League Pitcher of the Month. But when you put up numbers like his, you're going to get some notice. In July the Minneapolis starter earned a 3-0 mark in 5 starts. He threw 41 innings, struck out 30 and compiled a solid 1.54 ERA. For this year Cannon has chalked up 7 wins and 1 loss in 11 starts with 63 strikeouts in 87.2 innings and a 1.85 ERA. |
