Minneapolis Reliever Out
Sunday, July 16th, 2017
Minneapolis fans held their breath as Roy Scott left yesterday's Coal Miners-Freeze contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 29-year-old reliever had suffered a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament while throwing a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 9 months.
On the year, Scott has recorded 3 saves with a 1-0 record over 22 innings. He has mowed down 25 batters on strikes and walked 11 with an ERA of 2.45.
