Un-four-gettable: Yamada Hits for Cycle Sunday, April 9th, 2017 "Some days everything falls in place and you have an almost perfect day." Those were the comments from Billings first baseman Hidetada Yamada today as his 4-6 day included the cycle, a baseball rarity. "He sure was a wrecking ball today," said one teammate after the Mustangs tamed the Argonauts 16-3 at Cobb Field. Hidetada Yamada hit an RBI triple in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Chad Thompson in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th. On the year Yamada has hit .417 with 1 home run, 12 RBIs and scored 5 runs. |
