Super Swinger -- Hunt Slams 5 Hits Saturday, October 8th, 2016 Who needs batting practice? Bob Hunt of Indian Wells apparently doesn't as he battered Bristol City with a 5-hit outburst in today's game to lead his club to a 11-8 win. He told the press after the game, "And I didn't even take BP today. I think I have been taking too many swings before game and decided to take a day off. Wow, this was really something... a 5 for 5 day... will my name be in the record books now?" Bob Hunt singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Roland Nelson in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. In his 2016 season totals, Hunt has 9 home runs, .273 BA, .355 OBP, 31 RBIs and 44 runs scored. |
