Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Neil Fullerton of the Stingrays knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Acapulco Banditos while making a defensive play. Because of a torn back muscle, the St. John center fielder is expected to miss 4 months. Fullerton was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."

Currently Fullerton is batting .280 with 3 home runs, 22 RBIs and 29 runs scored.
