In the Banditos 15-5 win over Joplin, José Jaramillo was red-hot today, scorching them for hit after hit at The Firepit. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax. I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I must admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for a 5-hit game. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." On his big day Jaramillo delivered 5 hits in 5 at-bats. José Jaramillo hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, doubled in the 8th and walked in the 9th. For the year Jaramillo has hit .289 with 2 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 22 runs. |
