Pitcher of the Month Named in BCL Tuesday, September 1st, 2015 Over the past month Jonathan Knight has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the Blake Camden League. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Joplin Fireballs posted 4-1 mark and a 2.25 ERA. In 6 starts he tossed 36 innings, permitted 24 hits and fanned 26 batters. This season Knight has a 4-1 record with a 2.03 ERA in 8 starts. |
