Hits Galore: Morrow Drills 6 Hits Sunday, August 30th, 2015 If just anyone could go out and hit a baseball, big dollar contracts wouldn't exist. But they can't, so the good hitters get the big bucks. Tim Morrow showed how it's done as he went 6 for 6 against the Birmingham Bobcats and helped the Indian Wells Aeropostales beat them 16-2. The manager for the Bobcats told the BNN sportswriters, "We made some bad pitches and he took advantage of it. That's the game of baseball. Don't make mistakes and you win a lot more ballgames." If Morrow keeps hitting like this, he could be headed for a big pay raise. Tim Morrow singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. For the season, Morrow is hitting at a .300 clip with 17 home runs, 66 RBIs and has scored 72 runs. He has 126 hits, 65 walks and a .394 on-base percentage. |
