Au Batters Acapulco for 5 Hits Sunday, August 9th, 2015 Next time the Banditos might think twice about pitching to Li-chi Au. Today at Hell Stadium the El Paso right fielder really burned Acapulco pitching, going 5-for-6 in the Diablos 9-7 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Li-chi Au singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Valentyn Kent in the 8th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th. Currently Au is batting .335 with 13 home runs and 57 RBIs. |
