KSL Announces July's Best Starter Saturday, August 1st, 2015 There's something about a young rookie winning the Kade Stenson League Pitcher of the Month trophy that sends shock waves through the league. Such is the case with Ángel Manuel, a 22-year-old starter for the St. John Stingrays. In July, he topped off the month with a 4-0 mark and 1.13 ERA in 4 starts, tossed 24 innings, fanned 28 and held opposing teams to a .159 average. In 21 starts this season Manuel has registered a 8-5 record and a 4.35 ERA. |
