Ruckus Reaps 9-Game Suspensions Friday, July 10th, 2015 It was a pretty intense fight, so Gary Hunter and Blaine England were both suspended today for 9 games for their part in a brawl which happened in a game between the Philadelphia Freedom and the Bronx Bombers at The Bell. Hunter said, "Luckily nobody was hurt. I think we both overreacted to the situation." Hunter is hitting at a .256 mark this season. His stats show 3 home runs, 24 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has played 42 games for the Freedom. Up to now England has compiled an ERA of 5.43 with a 3-7 mark over 13 starts. He has 58 strikeouts in 71.1 innings and has held opponents to a .297 batting average. |
