May's Best Hurler in BCL is Owens Monday, June 1st, 2015 There was little doubt around the Blake Camden League that Ryan Owens would be awarded Pitcher of the Month honors for May. Today, they made it official, naming the 26-year-old Reno Raiders starter the latest honoree. He thoroughly dominated the hitters who stood in against him, holding them to a .184 batting average while fashioning a 1.79 ERA in 6 starts. His record for the month was 4-2 in 45.1 innings of work.
