Big Day with Bat: Au 5-5 Thursday, April 9th, 2015 Li-chi Au found a groove in today's game versus Coronado and wrote his name in the league record book. His 5 for 5 performance at the plate unfortunately wasn't enough, as the El Paso Diablos lost the game 7-5. The 24-year-old right fielder told the press, "It was one of those days when everything clicked for me. I made solid contact, and the ball dropped in. But we dropped the game. End of story." Li-chi Au doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. |
