Byford Selected Top Player Monday, August 18th, 2014 It was an exceptional week for John Byford of the Joplin Fireballs. First he beat the devil out of the ball, hitting .464 and as you would expect, he was voted the Player of the Week in the Blake Camden League. Last week Byford went 13-28, notched 1 home run and 7 RBIs and scored 5 runs. All in all, a very good week for him. Byford is presently hitting at a .303 pace with 14 home runs, 64 RBIs and has scored 63 times. |
