Dudley Socks it to Titans, Cracks 5 Hits Friday, April 25th, 2014 The Death Stars were defeated 16-8 today at The Death Star by the Titans, but you can't say Ronnie Dudley didn't give it his best try. The Death Stars catcher came to the plate 5 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Dudley and a tough day for Detroit. "I just go up there and swing away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." No plan or not, Dudley delivered today... 5-5 is outstanding in any league. Ronnie Dudley hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and doubled in the 9th. Dudley is currently hitting at a .269 pace with no home runs and 6 RBIs. |
