Poole, Unknown Receive 4-Game Suspensions
Saturday, June 15th, 2013
When fights happen, suspensions are not far behind. That axiom was held to be true today when Antioch's Stanton Poole and Pasadena's Jim Unknown were given a temporary vacation from the game, courtesy of the league commissioner's office.

They both were suspended for 4 games for their actions in a recent ruckus between the two teams. Both benches cleared when Poole charged Unknown.

Both players have accepted their fate and will begin serving their suspensions immediately. Neither would talk to reporters about the confrontation.

This season Poole has banged out 32 hits in 118 at-bats for a .271 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .356 pace and his totals also include 14 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
