Future in Jeopardy for Phantoms Joe Goodman

Joe Goodman's baseball career is almost certainly over according to his doctors. The 23-year-old Coronado Phantoms center fielder was given the dreadful news after suffering a setback in his rehabilitation from a a broken kneecap. A Phantoms team official, speaking unofficially, was quoted by reporters as saying, "For all intents and purposes, his career is over."
His all-time numbers show Goodman has compiled a .296 batting average and collected 123 hits, 12 home runs and 74 RBIs.
