Bad News for Toreros, Griffith Injured
Sunday, August 26th, 2012
Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Edward Griffith of the Toreros knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Maple Marauders while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn triceps, the Cabo San Lucas starting pitcher is expected to miss 4 months. Griffith was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."

This season Griffith has worked 141.1 innings with 115 strikeouts en route to a 7-10 record and a 4.14 ERA.
