Marauders, Texans Confirm Trade Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 The Maple Marauders have made a deal sending 22-year-old minor league first baseman Lu-po-teh Cheung, 24-year-old minor league second baseman Victor Rocher, 27-year-old minor league reliever Nicolas Rodrigues, 34-year-old left fielder Dave Carlisle and 26-year-old center fielder Brooks Petersen to the Dallas Texans for 24-year-old center fielder Bartolo Valentín. Both sides are said to be pleased with the way the trade worked out. His numbers show Petersen is carrying a .301 lifetime batting average with 15 home runs and 105 RBIs. A check of his lifetime stats shows Valentín has a career .288 average with 241 hits, 56 doubles, 4 triples, 32 home runs and 112 RBIs. To date he has scored 144 runs, walked 107 times and stolen 30 bases. |
