Top Rookie Crowned by Roberto Clemente League Monday, November 4th, 2019 The brightest new star in the Roberto Clemente League has been named. The 2019 Rookie of the Year Award has been handed out to Brooklyn's right fielder Kata Nishikawa, who outshined all his first-year peers in the balloting and on the diamond. He hit .385 for the Brooklyn Outlaws, racking up 170 hits, 16 home runs, 107 RBIs, and 91 runs scored to capture the trophy. |
