He proved it in award-winning style as he accepted the Roberto Clemente League Cy Young Award today. The veteran Brooklyn hurler posted a record of 17 wins and 10 losses this year with a 3.36 ERA. In 33 starts he struck out 162 and walked 60 in 241 innings. |
