Injury Worsens, Return Delayed For Federals Solís
Saturday, October 19th, 2019
Jorge Solís is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a partially torn labrum. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Federals sent the 24-year-old starting pitcher back to the doctors for reexamination. Solís told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Solís will now miss a minimum of 4 weeks.
For the season Solís has compiled a 2-3 record with a 6.51 ERA.
