Baldwin Produces Record-Breaking Hit Sunday, September 29th, 2019 The sensational season continued for Alvin Baldwin at The Ballpark at Potomac Yard . In today's game, Baldwin broke the single-season hit record established by Tom Becker. It was hit number 253 for the Montreal Bandits' second baseman. Baldwin called it "a moment I'll remember the rest of my life." Alvin Baldwin grounded out in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
