Pérez Blitzes Jersey Friday, September 20th, 2019 Raúl Pérez of the South Carolina Bombers was on fire against Jersey. He shut them down 11-0 on 3 hits and no runs with 9 strikeouts and no walks. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Pérez said. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that." This season Pérez has compiled a 15-12 mark with a 4.39 ERA. |
