Brent Welch out 4-5 Months With Injury Monday, September 16th, 2019 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Jokers when after today's game against the Jesters, the club found out they would be without the services of Brent Welch for at least 4-5 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Welch was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered shoulder inflammation. Checking out his stats for the season, Welch has notched 10 wins and 8 losses in 30 starts, 5.03 ERA and struck out 141 batters in 186 innings. |
