Iijima, McGill Receive 5-Game Suspensions Monday, September 16th, 2019 The league commissioner has issued 5-game suspensions to Tsuramatsu Iijima of Brooklyn and Matt McGill of Carolina. The two players were involved in a confrontation during a recent Outlaws-Crush game at Blue Ivy Stadium and now will miss time because of it. Neither player would comment on the suspensions. This year Iijima is hitting .274, produced 44 RBIs and 5 home runs, scored 56 times and gotten on base at a .344 rate. To date this year McGill has compiled a 4-6 mark with a 4.38 ERA in 12 starts. |
