Texans Chill Crawford's Hot Streak
Wednesday, September 4th, 2019
The Dallas Texans got more than a 5-0 victory over Brooklyn today at Metroplex Park. They put an end to Jim Crawford's 28-game hitting spree by holding him without a hit in 3 at-bats. But it was no big deal to the Outlaws second baseman.
Crawford seemed to feel more for his team than himself.
"I had some great looks at some pitches that I should have hit. I missed some that I shouldn't have swung at. All in all, I wasn't much help with the bat today."
This season Crawford is batting .305 with 16 home runs. His totals include 80 RBIs and 128 runs scored.
