Kyle Reader Out for 10 Months Tuesday, September 3rd, 2019 The San Diego Hops were dealt a severe blow when Kyle Reader was hurt making a defensive play recently in a game against the Minnesota Berserkers. After the game, the team trainer reported Reader might have to spend a lengthy time on the disabled list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 23-year-old left fielder out for the rest of the season with a concussion. They indicated it would take Reader at least 10 months to heal. This year Reader has hit at a .352 clip with 72 RBIs, 6 home runs and 112 runs scored. |
