Outlaws Gómez August's #1 Pitcher Sunday, September 1st, 2019 António Gómez's been around the league long enough to appreciate the honor he received today. After going 6-0 in August, the 35-year-old Brooklyn hurler has been named Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month. He fanned 36 in 48.1 innings, logged an ERA of 2.05 and allowed opponents to hit .237 against him. This season Gómez has compiled a 15-9 mark with a 3.42 ERA in 29 starts. |
