Bentley and Foster Suspended for Free-for-All Saturday, August 31st, 2019 It was quite a row yesterday at Bomber Ballpark. The Bombers Marlon Bentley and the Earthquakes Theodore Foster backed up their angry words with a few shoves and a few swings. Then both dugouts raced onto the field and got involved in the fracas. When it was over, only Bentley and Foster were ejected. As expected they were informed by the league office that they would each have to serve 4-game suspensions for their inappropriate actions. Bentley is hitting .219 this season with 3 home runs, 17 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 32 hits in 146 at-bats. This season Foster has crafted a 9-8 mark with a 4.92 ERA in 146.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .298 against him and he has 109 strikeouts. |
