Mile High Snaps Lyon's Streak at 20 Friday, August 30th, 2019 The Las Vegas Jokers lost to the Mile High Mustangs 10-2 today at Lucky 7 Ballpark, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Mitch Lyon's 20-game hitting streak. "We felt if we could slow down Lyon, we would win the game," the Mustangs manager explained after the game. "They really seemed to feed off of his streak, so we really wanted to make sure they had nothing to feed off of." In 134 games this year Lyon has posted a .322 average and put up these numbers: 31 home runs, 105 RBIs and 91 runs scored. |
