South Carolina Loses Mike Woods Thursday, August 29th, 2019 The South Carolina Bombers will lose the services of shortstop Mike Woods after he sustained a sprained ankle while colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Jersey Jesters. "I'll get through it," Woods said. "The key now is to stay positive." His trainer said he is expected to be sidelined for 4 weeks. Thus far this season Woods has hit .257 with 11 home runs, 62 RBIs and scored 59 times. |
