Klein Slaps 5 Hits Saturday, August 24th, 2019 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Jersey's Tom Klein had a very special day against the Berserkers when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Jersey Jesters to a 16-3 win at The Frozen Tundra. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Klein said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Tom Klein hit a three-run double in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, walked in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Looking at his stats this year, Klein has compiled a .268 batting average, while hitting 22 home runs and driving in 77 runs. He has played in 121 games and scored 77 runs. |
