Federals Becker Injured Friday, August 23rd, 2019 Washington left fielder Tom Becker left today's game with a torn posterior cruciate ligament. The injury looked like it occurred running the bases in the game against South Carolina. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Federals without Becker for about 9 months. Becker is batting .360 this year with 30 home runs, 104 RBIs and 81 runs scored. He has 153 hits in 425 at-bats. |
