Big Day for Nishikawa: Swats 6 Hits Friday, August 23rd, 2019 The Brooklyn Outlaws swept past the Boston Cardinals 24-3 today at St. Sebastian's Cathedral and were paced by right fielder Kata Nishikawa. The 24-year-old Nishikawa got 6 hits in 7 at-bats, helping to send Boston down to defeat. Kata Nishikawa singled in the 1st, hit a two-run single in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. So far this season Nishikawa has put up a .389 batting average with 119 hits, 13 home runs and 77 RBIs. |
