Setback for Seattle and Steve Frend Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 The Seattle Sasquatch will have to do without right fielder Steve Frend even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Frend's recovery from an oblique strain has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Sasquatch trainer indicated it would be at least 5 weeks before they would consider activating Frend. Frend is hitting .289 so far this season with 72 RBIs and 80 runs scored. He has 106 hits including 13 home runs, 66 walks and .400 OBP. |
