Crush Chill Nash's Hot Streak
Sunday, August 18th, 2019
Las Vegas first baseman Roy Nash came into today's game against the Carolina Crush on a hot streak. When it was over, the Crush did their job very well. They beat the Las Vegas Jokers 7-4 and cooled him off at the same time. Carolina stopped Nash without a hit and his 22-game hitting streak came to an end.

The 26-year-old Nash only had a few words to say after the game, "I had a chance to do it and I came up short."

His manager commented, "What Roy did was exciting and quite an achievement. It's tough enough to get one hit in this league, much less go 22 games in a row. I'm really proud of him. And I'm even more proud of the way he handled the press coverage. He never let the frenzy get to him or affect his play."

Nash is presently batting .368 with 15 home runs, 55 runs scored and 53 RBIs. His OBP is .416.
