Moor Parks 3 HR in the Seats
Saturday, August 10th, 2019
It was a day for the record book for Minnesota right fielder Raymond Moor. He walloped three out of The Frozen Tundra against the Bandits. But not even a three-homer game could prevent the Berserkers from losing 12-10 to Montreal today.
"We threw some good pitches and they hit 'em... we made some bad pitches and they hit 'em. That's a good strategy for losing ballgames," the Minnesota skipper quipped after the loss.
Moor celebrated nonetheless as his name will now be added to the league archives. He was 4-5 for the day, batting in 3 runs and scoring 3 times.
"I never, ever thought I would hit three home runs," Moor said. "I hit three home runs once when I was 12 in Little League and I thought that was going to be the last time."
Raymond Moor grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Elvis Sharp in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Elvis Sharp in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Elvis Sharp in the 8th and singled in the 8th.
This season Moor has hit at a .307 clip and produced 57 runs batted in, 24 home runs and 63 runs.
