Seattle's Rose to Miss 11 Months
Saturday, August 3rd, 2019
The Seattle Sasquatch will have to make do without Kent Rose for 11 months. He suffered a torn labrum while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Minnesota Berserkers. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the closer. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back."

Up to this point in the season, Rose has made 56 relief appearances with no saves. Rose has also recorded a 2-4 won-lost mark with a 5.32 ERA. In 66 innings he has fanned 65.
