Republic Frost Suspended Saturday, August 3rd, 2019 Joe Frost was suspended by the league for 4 games for "inappropriate conduct on the field," stemming from an altercation during a game with the Montreal Bandits yesterday at Labatt Bleue Park. The So Cal shortstop refused to leave the field for several minutes after being ejected by the home plate umpire over a third-strike call. His manager finally convinced him to leave the field, but had to step between him and the umpire several times. Republic officials told the press Frost was not available for comment after the game. So far this year Frost has 15 home runs and a .275 batting average. |
