Miller Suffers Major Injury, Career Over
Tuesday, July 23rd, 2019
Jacksonville right fielder Michael Miller sustained a concussion colliding with a player at home plate in yesterday's game against the Jokers. It was only later, at the local hospital, that the severity of the injury became apparent. While the Jacks team doctor was confident Miller would make at least a partial recovery, he was less optimistic about his future in baseball. "Professional ballplayers need to be in peak physical condition. Unfortunately, Michael will be affected by this injury for the rest of his life."

Thus far this year Miller has hit .304 with 5 home runs and 27 RBIs.
