Steve Frend Out 8-9 Weeks Saturday, July 20th, 2019 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Sasquatch when after today's game against the Crush, the club found out they would be without the services of Steve Frend for at least 8-9 weeks. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Frend was injured earlier today making a defensive play and suffered an oblique strain. Frend is hitting .289 in 2019 with 72 RBIs and 13 home runs. |
